TAKING fashion tips from your father-in-law isn’t generally a thing, especially if your father-in-law is Prince Charles.
Not usually known as a fashion guru, it looks as though the Prince’s safari suit choice from the ‘80s has provided the Duchess of Cambridge with some retro fashion inspiration during her tour of Canada.
In what is an unfortunate styling choice for the often sartorially correct Duchess of Cambridge, she has been spotted wearing a beige belted safari style trench coat.
While she has no doubt styled the look far better than her all beige, all suave father-in-law did during a trip to Papua New Guinea all the way back in 1984.

Kate teamed her casual look with dark blue jeans, knee length Penelope Chilvers brown leather boots.
Their visit was affected by bad weather, with see through umbrellas handed out to shield the royal duo from the pelting rain.
Plans for an aerial tour of Canada’s Great Bear Rainforest and a boat tour of Bella Bella Harbour for the British royals were cancelled on Monday.
Kate and Wills have been on an official tour of Canada since arriving with their two kids Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte, 1.
