25 stars Jean Christophe Grang is know for his fast paced mysterious and thrilling books and after having read a few of his books I was looking forward to reading Der steinerne Kreis The blurb sounded interesting an adopted child likely to carry an important secret is in danger and his mother a very intriguing young woman is travelling to the end of the word in order to save her child The first half of the story was very interesting finding out about Lucien s roots and a number of gruesome deaths have been very typical for Grang Unfortunately the second half of the story hasn t been my cup of tea The plot started to get and implausible and I lost interest in the main characters Considering that I really enjoyed the Grang books I read before I have been a little disappointed with this story Grang has not been at his best

SUMMARY Le Concile de pierre

After the books Le Vol des Cigognes and Crimson Rivers the author usrprised us a litte bit Besides no book could have been the same level with these one So Le Concile de Pierre has shared the same fate
