Spects a supernatural element His call for assistance is answered by the supernatural community sending one of their very best If it takes a thief to. YAY Reached my Challenge with this bookI could not read anything else by this author This book has 448 pages and he used the word said 1241 times according to my iPad Really No exclaimed or murmured or shouted or yelled or muttered or told or voiced or articulated or blustered nothing but said IMO that s just a really lazy way to write I like some kind of emotion when people talk and said has no emotion whatsoever And since all his books are mostly if not all than 425 pages I can t see myself reading thousands of said I did love the sassy and really sarcastic voice the narrator gave to StaciaLisa but that doesn t make up for the fact this was 448 pages that went on and on and on The battle that went on in the huge warehouse lasted through about 75 to 100 pages for sure Whew I didn t think they were ever going to get out the other sideI also liked the witch Declan who was very powerful at 19 and the huge werewolf Stacia and Buck but I had to picture him different since the author gave him a bushy beard and I hate that I liked Sheriff Grable but hated Alder as he was such an A holeAll the battles that went on were exciting but I was happy when they ended so we could move on to something else I did love Omega who came in late in the book but was still awesome He was likable and scary at the same time Anyway the story was okay but a little too long There was swearing and the F bomb was dropped 29 times And there was not one iota of romance in this storyAs to the narrator Fabulous Every voice he did was completely different than the other You always knew who was talking without the book telling you and he read with passion and feelings The voice he gave to Stacia was incredible and oh so funny when she spoke

Rating 5 stars seriesRe listened for the third time this year October 2019Re listened May 2019 Initial review below While I still give the series as a whole 5 stars I must admit this is my least favorite book of the series so far So far in the series the narrator has been either Chris or Declan To be honest I could not really tell who the narrator was in this book The story starts with Stacia going to investigate a possible rouge werewolf attack as a favor to a New York police detective friend So the story was about Stacia initially but not really from her point of view There were a lot of she and he but not a single I narration In the previous books it was from either Chris s or Declan s point of view We were told about their feelings and thought processes The narration in this book felt somewhat external to Stacia The only feelings that we know about were the feelings she expressed out loud I read a review from someone that didn t like Stacia in this book because she seemed to be talking about her emotions to every person she came across and in the previous books she sort of had a lock down on her emotions Maybe the author didn t feel comfortable writing a story from a female point of view I don t think this story did Stacia much justice She is an awesome character Incredibly hot smart and probably the most bad ass werewolf on the planet because of how uick she can change and how fast she picked up the traits Giving Stacia her own story was a good idea except it wasn t executed well First was the narration problem as discussed above Her tracking down a rogue werewolf was something that seemed right up her alley except that because of her fame she had to go and investigate in a disguise One would think that there would be other werewolves around that could handle this issue on the down low Putting the most famous werewolf on the planet in a disguise seemed like a disaster waiting to happen During her investigation she finds out it is not just one but a pack of rogue werewolves and a witch At this point it is fairly obvious this case is too much for her alone As I stated above she is a badass but she can t handle a pack of rogue werewolves by herself and especially can t do it when there is a witch involved too So of course Declan arrives to help her out Once he got there he pretty much took over the entire operation and Stacia was relegated to back up super competent important back up but back up never the less The whole point of her being there in the first place was because she wanted to handle things on her own to prove that she could be independent and not just part of a team That s what I mean when I say the story did not do her much justice at all I both liked and disliked the struggle Stacia was having with her feelings for Declan It is obvious even to Stacia that Declan really likes her and would do anything for and yet she makes comments in the beginning about not knowing exactly how he feels She knows he would blow up the world if she was is in trouble but isn t sure how he feels That could have been a deflection though to hide the fact she didn t know how she felt about him Her wolf knows view spoiler one of the funniest parts was when Declan was using the eyelash from a female werewolf he knew at school to do a spell to give him werewolf eyesight and she growled He had to sit perfectly still while she took the eyelashes threw them on the ground and then gave him 2 of her own to use instead She or her wolf maybe both was insanely jealous of even something that simple I also like the light touches that seem to calm both of them down both being done unconsciously hide spoiler

Once again Mr Conroe proves that a Demon Accords story doesn't need to be told from Chris' perspective to be great This story is told from Stacia's viewpoint and it is every bit as good as anything that has come before Since her introduction in Demon Driven Stacia has proven herself to be a kick ass supporting character and one of my favourites in the series In spite of remaining strong independent and deadly she has matured from the inf

I just couldn't get into this book I really triedIt just feels like something's missing Probably ChrisI love Stacia I have always loved her but she seems such a different character opening up to pretty much every person she meets and having a heart to heart about her emotions and relationship Like every single person she meets She just felt so different from the intelligent and jaded wolf she's proven and described to be It feel

An amazing book I loved this book just as much if not than conroe's other works The first book I read in the series was forced accent I didn't know it was the seventh book of the series at the time but afterwords I went back and read the first five I stopped when I realized Chris wouldn't narrate the sixth book After a few weeks an
