This was the 4th book by this author and involving the police detective Ari Thor Again I was caught up in the plot and the process of detection altho this was perhaps not as realistic a story for the solution But I do like the characters and the settings in Iceland so I will continue to read this author s works in the future

This was one of my favorite books by Ragnar Jonasson. The story was so well told, it never lagged. I couldn't put this book down. I have read several books by this author in his Dark Icelandic series and have enjoyed them in a relaxed kind of way. They tend to be set in remote parts of Iceland so the environment and climate are strong features.
