MYER ambassador Jennifer Hawkins plans to shake things up tonight at the much anticipated and incredibly intimate Autumn 2016 fashion collection show.
Jen will be showcasing leading Australian and international designer brands not in a standard runway space but at Barangaroo in Sydney.
The retailer, who usually holds a mega-extravaganza with hundreds of people, has been given access to Barangaroo’s The Cutaway, a huge space that features a gigantic wall of sandstone.
“It reminds me of the house we are building,’’ smiles Jen.
“Ok, ok, not as big but with those amazing sandstone kind of rough edges and lots of depth.
Jen will be joined tonight on the runway by international model Shanina Shaik, who will be presenting two fashion ‘moments’ as 100 hand-picked guests sit on one long table in the cavernous and very cool new event space.

“There are some great trends this autumn season that I would suggest and they are big bell sleeves, anything with some fringing, a killer pair of jeans, pants with a slight flare, lace, leather and a solid pop of colour in some kind of burgundy tone,” according to Jen.
Myer talent walking the red carpet will include ambassadors Jodi Anasta and Rachael Finch.
Australian fashion personalities expected to attend include Myer designers, Edwina Robinson and Adrian Norris from Aje, Toni Maticevski, Yeojin Bae, Alex Perry, Jackie Demkiw and new Myer designer, Georgia Alice.
